A cou­ple of weeks ago, we have had an oppor­tu­nity to par­tic­i­pate in Beta test­ing of this new web­site, Flipilicious.com. We were asked to par­tic­i­pate as they were look­ing for some “deals” to offer for us, Divers. So we went along.

Flipilicious.com offers you over­stocked sports items with unbeat­able prices. If you like it, good. If you don’t, let’s eBay. Inter­est­ing thing about Flipilicious.com is to be able to earn points and con­vert it to voucher for you to use at a later date. If you invite your friends to be a part of Flip, you also get a voucher. Hol­i­day sea­son is near, so this would be a great help for all bubble-makers out there. And they will ship internationally.

Because we were heav­ily involved in the test­ing, they did us a big favor and their Beta launch­ing prod­uct will be a SCUBA item. Rumor has it, it may be the Spring Straps from Inno­v­a­tive Scuba, which fit on most of the fins (which by the way is a fab prod­uct…). The sug­gested retail price for these fin straps is any­where from $55 to $60 (USD).

The only prob­lem is… we don’t know WHAT TIME it’s going to launch this evening. We were told that it’s a part of the game and we must “guess”-timate the time of their launch!!! We assigned one of our team mem­bers for check­ing the launch of Flipilicious.com from 6PM EST this evening on so that we can announce the launch over Face­book, Twit­ter, and Friendfeed.

We are also in the mid­dle of nego­ti­a­tion with Flip­i­li­cious to see if we can get a dis­count for Div­ingList read­ers. It may come, it may not… we can­not promise. But we’ll be sure to let you know if it happens.
