We received a note last night in regards to the Annual Soiree by Iemanya Ocean­ica, the non-profit foun­da­tion ded­i­cated to the con­ser­va­tion of sharks, rays, and their habi­tats. You may know them as “Adopt-A-Shark” of Adapotashark.com — Adopt a Shark is one of their programs.

This upcom­ing Sep­tem­ber 17, 2009, Iemanya Ocean­ica is hot­ing an annual soiree at the Skir­ball Cul­tural Cen­ter in the beau­ti­ful City of Angels (Los Angels). (Invi­ta­tion is on the left.) From 6pm, it starts with Mako Mar­tini Auc­tion to Live Enter­tain­ment to hon­or­ing of Coun­cil­man Ed Reyes for his con­ser­va­tion efforts, the ticket to this soiree starts from $100.
