Been a while to post — been busy… How is every­one and how is your dive sea­son going?

Today’s post is… DAN Acci­dent Report free to down­load. You might think of why you may want to down­load THE ACCIDENT Report, but it’s always inter­est­ing to see the sta­tis­tics and dis­tri­b­u­tions of dive acci­dents. Not that I like about the dive acci­dents, but the more you know, the bet­ter it is to be hon­est. And of course, this will increase your dive safety knowl­edge and whole a lot more.

DAN has been hold­ing a Dive Safety Work­shop at Beneath the Sea past cou­ple of years, and the Acci­dent Report is one of the things they review. Hav­ing pro­fes­sion­als and doctors/researchers in the field of SCUBA in front of you, speak­ing about what you can do to pre­vent acci­dents, why they may hap­pen, how they could hap­pen etc.. always interesting.

So, let’s increase the aware­ness… Don’t be depressed — more con­tin­u­ing edu­ca­tion, more safety aware­ness, more div­ing — for a long time.
