We received a post­card today from National Mar­itime His­tor­i­cal Soci­ety. (Post­card photo on the left — nice, isn’t it?) They are hold­ing an event called The Aban­doned Boats of New York Har­bor in Hen­drick Hud­son Free Library in Mon­trose, NY on April 28, 2007 from 10:30AM.

Ger­ald Wein­stein will share expe­ri­ences of explor­ing the wrecks.
