LIDA is host­ing Dive Safety Week­end at Westch­ester Med­ical Cen­ter over the week­end of 4/14/2007 –4/15/2007. Details are below:

LIDA is pleased to inform you a Safety Sem­i­nar to be held April 14 and 15 at the Westch­ester Med­ical Cen­ter Children’s Hos­pi­tal. Saturday’s pro­gram is FREE with a min­i­mal dona­tion requested to help defray costs of lunch. Sunday’s pro­gram will include a course on Field Neu­ro­log­i­cal Exam­i­na­tions, a full day pre­sen­ta­tion intended for EMS pro­fes­sional and first respon­ders to be taught by the best, Andrea Zafers of Life­guard Sys­tems. In addi­tion, renowned tech­ni­cal guru Bernie Chowd­hury, author of “The Last Dive” and instruc­tor and BTS direc­tor Ed Smith of LST will teach a 1/2 day DAN Cer­ti­fi­ca­tion course on Basic Life Sup­port and related top­ics, intended for all. More detail below and to fol­low. We highly rec­om­mend you to attend this out­stand­ing program.
